Tell us a bit about yourself

I fell in love with film photography when I randomly found my dad's old film camera in a closet which was sitting there forgotten for 19 years with an unfinished film inside. The excitement of discovering photos from my first travel when I was 1 years old was wonderful.

Why analog?

I shoot only analog, because I never really know what to expect, I cannot see the photo immediately and I keep on getting positively surprised every single time when I get a roll developed. It's a unique experience. I especially love that my film camera makes memories way more special and brings them closer to heart. And of course, I don't think I even have to mention that, how cool the photos actually look.

What attracts you to green tones when shooting?

Green tones most of the time come from the nature and nature is the best thing to capture on film. Green is also my favorite color and I have green eyes (there might be some connection).

Your process?

I like to look for pretty frames. I choose nature over indoors. I look at something and I think "that would look great on film" and then I hope for the best I pay attention to each frame, but I'm also not afraid to take a few shots of the same view to catch that perfect shot.

In your opinion, what makes a photo stand out?

Definitely unusual framing always does the job, as well as catching interesting movements.
